Good evening folks,

Welcome to our new users of Derbyshire Alert.

It's been brought to my attention that next weekend , Saturday 25th of October at 12.30hrs there is a church service followed by the opening of the Poppy display at Lullington with a very special guest, the beautiful Shire horse, Bonnie 🐴

On Sunday 26th of October at 12.30hrs, the church will be open for all the community to go and view the stunning displays.

All funds raised goes towards supporting veterans, serving members of the Armed forces and their families.

Refreshments will be available at the village hall which is opposite All Saints Church in Lullington.

Also at Coton-in-the-Elms Village Hall has started their Community Warm Hub, which is held on Wednesdays from 11-1pm throughout the winter months, and when my shifts allow , I will be joining so all are welcome.

And finally, the Safer Neighbourhood Teams are continuing to seize Escooters over areas of South Derbyshire and so recently an elderly gentleman was quite surprised when his Escooter was seized in Walton-on-Trent.
